Welcome to the first Spring look on my blog for this year! It’s been a while since I posted an outfit post, but now that it’s starting to warm up outside, I’m excited to get back into the groove of things and post more looks for this season.
The look I’m sharing with you today is from my trip to PCB last week. I love this look because it’s simple, cute, and just SO me. The bodysuit is from City Trends. I haven’t shopped there in years, but before the trip, I decided to check out some of their basics. I knew I wanted really simple tops that would go with just about anything. Surprisingly, City Trends had some really cute and inexpensive ones. I know for me, I don’t feel pressured to spend a ton of money on basics, so the pieces I purchased were exactly what I was looking for: cute and inexpensive.
I believe I purchased these denim shorts from a store called Bonnies (inside of Peachtree Mall in Columbus, Georgia). Originally, the holes were a lot smaller. I’ve had these shorts for a few years, so they’ve been stretched out over time, but to this day, they are one of my favorite pairs of shorts.
Also, going back to the bodysuit, I love the cutout detail on the back. The “Kinda Bad Kinda Boujee” phrase on the front + the cutout detail was enough for me to know I had to have this bodysuit.
My slides are from Macy’s; they’re Steve Madden. I’m still obsessed with them a year later. I would wear them every day if I could. Lol.
