Happy New Year, and welcome back to my blog! I took a little break before Christmas to spend quality time with my family and friends. I’m back now and ready to start pumping out more content for you all.
I’m really excited for this post in particular. This is my first time doing a vision board. Let’s get into it:
Last year I wrote out all of my goals for 2018, and I actually shared a few of them with you all: My Goals for 2018! | Happy New Year! I wanted to do something different this year. I decided to do a vision board (shoutout to Adrienne Houghton for the inspiration).
I did the digital version. If you don’t want to spend the money on materials for a real vision board, you can do a digital one like me. You can even print it out and hang it on your wall. Same idea, just cheaper and less work.
From left to right-
1. Save more money
I managed to save a little last year, but I know I can do better this year.
2. Move out
I’ve been saying this for a while now, but this year I’m not playing any games. I’m so ready to move out of my parents’ house and into my own apartment.
3. Get a passport
I need to get a passport asap because your girl is ready to start traveling the world. I’m also ready to conquer my fear of flying.
4. Go somewhere tropical
My dream vacation is somewhere beautiful and tropical. A few places I want to visit are Hawaii, Punta Cana, Turks and Caicos, Bora Bora, and the Bahamas.
5. Start a Mukbang channel
If you’re not familiar with mukbangs, you should check them out on YouTube. They’re basically videos of people eating on camera, and they’re pretty popular. I was talking about it all last year, but this year, I’m definitely ready to start my own channel. Stay tuned for more info on that.
6. Step up my fashion game
This year I’m going all out and really taking my style to the next level.
7. Take better photos
I also want to get more creative with my photos. If that means investing in a good camera or hiring a personal photographer, then I guess that’s what I’ll have to do. I desire to have a bomb Instagram feed.
8. Strengthen my relationships/friendships
I really want to work on my relationships and friendships this year. I want to support my loved ones even more than I do now and just be an overall good person.
9. Promote world peace
I also want to continue being an advocate of world peace – now more than ever. Our world is in a dark place right now, and I think it’s important that we spread love and light in any way that we can.
10. Work out
I am determined to start working out. Your girl wants to start eating more and gaining a little weight, so of course I’ll need to be in the best shape possible. I’m not saying I’m going to work out every day or even go to the gym. Ideally, I just want to work out at home maybe once or twice a week.
11. Grow my following/connect with people online
I really want to grow my following on social media this year, specifically Instagram. I think once I start taking better pictures and enhance my style, I’ll be able to attract more followers to my social media and my blog…hopefully.
There you have it…my 2019 vision board! What do you think? Also, what’s on your vision board or goal list?
